Frank is well known to voters in the Miami area due to his previous runs for Congress. In 2002 and 2004 he ran as a Libertarian earning as much as 27% of the vote. He then switched to the Democratic Party in 2006 and earned 41% of the vote. In 2008 Frank plans to run as an Independent, but currently is supporting the campaign of Dean Santoro who is attempting to beat the incumbent Republican in the primaries.

Frank is great on all of the liberty issues and also bravely speaks out about opening up trade with Cuba which is a highly charged issue in the Miami area.
